ONE LINE

One line changes it all
One line holds all the meaning
The one line .. I do
Makes one out of two
One line
On your mark is anxious
Get set and go
Are the words a runner
Waits to hear
And .. I'm sorry  is pleasing
To a sympathy needing ear
One line says it all
Strange how my words
Take so long
 Come out all wrong
Even when I know
Something direct can
Change everything
Maybe that's why
 God speaks in such few
Well .. I love you

WORDLESS   POETRY

I don't  know what to say
I haven't the words left in me
So I'll play you my wordless poetry
I've said all I should
And I've done all I could
And I haven't the words left in me
So I'll take what is left and
Give it to you
My wordless poetry

A Walk in the Sand

I went for a walk on the sand
Waiting for my thoughts
To come back
To our planet and land
Though no one
In my sight
A peaceful presence
I do sense
With the suns rising
Pours in the light
Loves possibilities
Immense

Today's Love

Lend me an ear
Kiss away my tear
Love is today
Not just yester year

Finally Free

Lost in all your worry
Slowing  down
No rush .. no hurry
Seeing clear
Not blurry
Never a need for
Anxiety
To your locked door
You have found
The key
Living in real love
As you'll be
Is free

One of No Identity

I walk the streets
No identity do I bare
Nor does any one really care
My smiles never ending
So why not
I shall share
If with one ..  with all
Big and small
Everyone deserves simple
Kindness
And anyone can give
Kindness
Even me who is
One of no identity

Rachel Wicks

Defaced

No one special
So easily replaced
No one special
No identity
No one special
That is me
I have been defaced

Rachel Wicks

I have skipped out of this dimensions reality as no one knows it
I enjoy having my own mind .. with many wild thoughts and dreams
I see the sight of the bright light .... fulfilling it's part in my life
Make sure you listen to the right music .. Wear the right clothes
Make sure to be happy if someone gives you a rose
Use something .. then ditch it any where
It doesn't matter .. all it is a meaningless creation
While other people think .. environmental
Knock some sense into this nation
I have skipped out of this dimensions reality
As no one knows it..

Rachel Wicks

Minds of our Own

More love and individuality
What we need in every nationality
This I wish with great zeal
As I am told just how I should feel
People like to boss others around
Is what it seems
I enjoy having my own mind
With many wild thoughts and dreams
So quit trying to change or
Compromise or
Make some kind of deal
Then maybe...
All our lives will be more fun
And a little less
Surreal

A LARGER WORLD

I feel a freedom
that only comes from kindness
A dance of joy
feels like flying
Like everyone whispering ... love
in the wind
and the wind rushes through
And your world
is a little larger today
And these strangers
have all become one in friendship
As they lay
connecting with each sun ray
Our world becomes a little larger today
Let your world become a little larger
Greet the sky with a smile
more lovely than the sun
This is freedom
that only comes from kindness

Rachel Wicks

I see the sight of the bright light.  My body sinks to weak.  Now the choice is in my hands.
Of brilliant gratitude.  Or negative and bleak.  There's a rush of pain.
When I consider the possibility of my own form of tragedy.
Fulfilling it's part in my life.  I look to you.  You turn my eyes and I become thankful ,
the sight didn't seize me.  I squish my past sorrow and worries of tomorrow.
Letting the presence fill my heart with glee ...  Rachel Wicks

Power of Mind

With my eyes I only see
Pictures of reality
That soon just fade away
With my mind
I have visions of my choice
That can come about
In the dark of night
Or in the light of day

ISN'T IT GREAT

See that hardened expression
looks like its been there awhile
The stone grooved depression
weighing her down for a smile
and I wonder ..doesn't she know that she's free
Why don't we tell her between you and me
Life's not that hard, just be
Doesn't she know that she's free
I haven't the slightest her name
I'm sure of her un fame
But I don't feel the same
as a stranger
And I wonder
Doesn't she know that she's free
Why don't we tell her between you and me
Life can be easy, just be
Don't you know you're free
I'm not sure why it matters to me
But I can feel your pain
It's just so plain to see
Life's not all you wished today
So I pray
this too will pass
Next time I see you
my heart grows in joy
your spirit is smiley
so isn't it great
Isn't it great to be free
Between you and me
I like it better smiley

Look Out

Look out .. what is this
What is this all about
You can't sleep at night
You may not take it light
But please tell me
What's this all about
Your life is blown away
In just a fraction of a day
You beg .. you plead
For it to stay
It doesn't matter any way
All your memories
Consist of frailties
Wrapped in a scream
And a shout
Look out
